How to choose
the right agent

In our experience it isn’t wise to just jump in and purely choose to use the agent that provides you with the highest valuation.

Ask them to explain the asking price and valuation they provide and whether they can evidence the value with credible research and comparisons.

You should also ask them to explain/demonstrate their provisions for the following:

  • Their marketing strategy & options for both your home and your personal circumstances
  • Their staffing levels & resources
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the local area and similar properties to yours
  • A track record of strong performance
  • Their ability to reach and attract both local and national buyers
